Account & Data Deletion

Request removal of your account and personal data

We respect your privacy rights. You can delete your account directly in our mobile apps, or follow the steps below to request deletion via email.

1. Delete Account in Mobile App (Recommended)

Quick & Easy In-App Deletion

  1. 1. Open the MyLODGE.space or the MyLODGE Staff mobile app
  2. 2. Go to your Profile page
  3. 3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  4. 4. Confirm your deletion request

Note: Your account will be scheduled for deletion with a 7-day grace period. You'll be logged out immediately, but can contact us within 7 days if you change your mind.

2. Email Deletion Request (Alternative)

If you prefer to request deletion via email, send an email to our digital team with the required information detailed below.

Required Information

  • Email Address: The email address associated with your MyLODGE.space account
  • Full Name: Your full name as registered in your account
  • Subject Line: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Reason (Optional): Brief explanation for your deletion request

3. What Data Will Be Deleted

  • • Contact information (name, email, phone)
  • • Account settings and configurations
  • • App usage data and analytics linked to your account
  • • Photos and content you've uploaded
  • • Marketing communication preferences

⚠ Data We May Retain

  • • Transaction records (for legal and tax compliance)
  • • Reservation history (anonymized after 7 years)
  • • Financial records related to bookings
  • • Data required for fraud prevention
  • • Legal dispute records
  • • Anonymized analytics data (not linked to your identity)

Note: Some data may be retained for legal compliance purposes as required by Romanian and EU law, including tax records and transaction history. This data will be anonymized where possible and deleted after the required retention period.

Account permanently deleted after 7 days

In-app deletions: Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately with a 7-day grace period. Email requests: We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving your email, followed by the 7-day grace period.

5. Important Considerations

Account Recovery

Once your account is permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use MyLODGE.space services again in the future.

Active Reservations

If you have active reservations, please contact us before requesting account deletion to discuss how this may affect your bookings.

Third-Party Services

If you signed up using Google or other social media accounts, you may need to revoke permissions separately through those platforms.

Request a copy of your data before deletion if you want to keep personal records.
